Josceline approached us to create and carve again their Oxford University RAG Ball Vodka Luge - as we had last year and in previous years. Josceline from St Edmunds wanted a Glass Slipper created from ice. However, they wanted it to last a long, long time. Instead of a delicate and elegant slim stiletto heel, Josceline asked for a 'chunky' one; one with a thick heel if possible. Her wish was our command.
We designed and created a beautiful glass shoe but with a large 'wedge' shaped heel. Although the heel was thick and sturdy, it looked perfect and not out of place when set up at their venue - Oxford Town Hall.
We created this luge with an external channel - making it fun and exciting for students to see their vodka rush doen the outside of the luge (and hopefully into an ice shot glass!)
