Charlotte contacted us asking if we could make her boyfriend's name in ice - along with his birthday number - Brady 30. We were delighted to create this for her.
The venue was the prestigious Alea Casino right in the centre of Nottingham. Thank goodness there was a lift. The newly refurbished room was on the second floor!
This Vodka Luge was a mixture of techniques - Hand carving and CNC. The ice block took 7-8 days to make and the carving around 4-hours.
Placed on a high table, the Luge stood centre stage; right next to (but not on) the well-stock bar. This is a GREAT venue for a party. For us it was easy access, helpful staff and a joy to set the Luge up for Charlotte.
Unfortunately we missed Charlotte as she turned-up with her boyfriend about 45 minutes after we had set it up. On the Monday she sent us a brief but lovely testimonial:
